RESOLUTION NO. 6838 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />ACCEPT PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS <br />FOR TECHNOLOGY AND ELECTRONICS PACKAGE <br />FOR SBM FIRE STATION #3 <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to City Council Resolution of a Capital Improvement Plan for the <br />Spring Lake Park Fire Department Inc. that included construction of a new fire station the <br />following proposals were received as required by State law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Listed below are the apparent proposals/quotation results for the <br />technology and furniture package: <br /> <br />Driving Simulator: <br />L-3 Communications of Salt Lake City, Utah $165,000 <br /> <br />Incident Command and Emergency Management Software: <br />Command Sim of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania $60,000 <br /> <br />Computers: <br />DIX Computers of St. Paul, Minnesota $42,918 <br /> <br />Furniture: <br />Hendrickson Office Group of Minneapolis, Minnesota $85,658.01; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the total of these bids equal $353,576.01 which is within the projected <br />budget for these components. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View <br />adopt this resolution of support in the Blaine City Council awarding the proposals/contracts as <br />listed to the apparent lowest identified vendors. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this12th day of June 2006. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator/Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />(seal)
