RESOLUTION NO 6881 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE CONTRACT FOR THE Removal of a 12,000 Gallon <br />Propane Tank and Filling Station <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has a 12,000 gallon propane tank and filling station <br />located at the maintenance facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the use of this propane tank and filling station is not being <br />utilized to fuel the fleet; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff contacted suppliers of such equipment and received <br />only one interested supplier; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff received a proposal and contract from Determan <br />Brownie, Inc. for the removal of above stated equipment and placement of a 500 <br />gallon tank to serve Well # 2 as an alternate fuel source in emergency situations; <br />and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City <br />Council approves a contract with Determan Brownie, Inc for the removal of <br />12,000 gallon tank, fueling station and all plumbing involved. This also includes <br />the installation of a contractor supplied 500 gallon propane tank and reguired <br />plumbing. The quote for this removal is : $6,900.00 The contractor will waive the <br />cost of removal and for the installation of supplied 500 gallon tank and plumbing <br />to supply Well # 2.
