<br />RESOLUTION NO. 6915 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRING OF A RECEPTIONIST FOR THE <br />ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT TO REPLACE THE OUTGOING RECEPTIONIST <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the current Receptionist for the Administration Department has submitted <br />notice of resignation effective August 7, 2006; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Receptionist position is a full-time, AFSCME Union position; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Marge Norquist, Finance Account Clerk, will be working full-time in the <br />interim until a Receptionist is hired; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Marge Norquist, interim full-time status shall not exceed 60 days <br />effective Monday, August 14, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the selected candidate will be offered a position starting at Step 1 for that <br />position as provided for in the current AFSCME Labor Contract and Mounds View Personnel <br />Manual. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, that the Administration Department is authorized to take the necessary steps to fill the <br />Receptionist position, according to the conditions and provisions listed above. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 14th day of August, 2006. <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: ____________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(seal) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
