She stated that weekends are their peak times and they are hoping to use those dates 2 <br />regularly. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Councilmember Flaherty asked how important Multipurpose Room C is to McIntyre and the 5 <br />Community Center. She responded that it is the main room used for their programming. She 6 <br />stated it is being used 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. She added that the Multipurpose Room would be 7 <br />unavailable during performances as well. 8 <br /> 9 <br />City Attorney Riggs suggested no decision should be made on the resolution and that Staff 10 <br />should come back with a lease at the next meeting. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Councilmembers Stigney and Flaherty WITHDREW their motion to approve Resolution 6892 13 <br />Approving the Selection of Oops Dinner Theatre as a Mounds View Community Center tenant 14 <br />and Authorizing Staff to prepare an Interim Lease Agreement. 15 <br /> 16 <br />MOTION/SECOND: STIGNEY/FLAHERTY. To Direct Staff to prepare a Lease Agreement 17 <br />with Oops Dinner Theater and bring it back to the Council for approval. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Councilmember Flaherty asked that Oops Theater and the Community Center Staff work together 20 <br />regarding scheduling. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Councilmember Gunn asked about the weddings. Mr. McIntyre replied there is one in 23 <br />September, one in April, and one in June. Councilmember Gunn asked if they should go ahead 24 <br />and book the weddings. Councilmember Flaherty stated the only one in conflict would be 25 <br />September. Mayor Marty stated that he would approve the weddings. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Councilmember Thomas asked for an answer regarding weddings. She stated that the Council 28 <br />needs to make the decision. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Councilmember Stigney stated that he would like to go back to the original option approving the 31 <br />six-month lease with Oops. 32 <br /> 33 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 1 (Marty) Motion carried. 34 <br /> 35 <br />CONTINUATION OF MEETING 10:50 p.m. 36 <br /> 37 <br />MOTION/SECOND: STIGNEY/THOMAS. He 43 <br />stated the noise counts are up and there is a consideration of a motel and restaurant in the corner 44 <br />near the airport. 45
