RESOLUTION 6906 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT, HOLDING A PUBLIC <br />IMPROVEMENT HEARING, ORDERING THE PROJECT, AUTHORIZING THE <br />PREPARATIONS OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING <br />EASEMENT PREPARATION ACTIVITIES FOR THE COUNTY ROAD 10 <br />TRAILWAY PROJECT: SEGMENTS 9&10 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 9, 2006 the City Council approved Resolution <br />6716 authorizing the preparation of a preliminary feasibility report and consultant <br />selection for the County Road 10 Trailway, Lighting, and Landscape Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 7, 2006, a draft Preliminary Feasibility Report for <br />the County Road 10 Trailway Project: Segments 9 &10 was submitted for the <br />City Council’s review; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 14, 2006 the City Council approved Resolution <br />6915 Setting a Public Improvement Hearing Date of August 28, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the feasibility report has been prepared and does find the <br />construction of said improvements to be necessary, cost effective and feasible; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, should the Council wish to proceed with this project, the next <br />step in the public improvement process is to order the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, should the Council wish to proceed, the next step in the <br />engineering process is to order the preparation of plans and specifications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the feasibility report indicates that there is a need for <br />additional temporary construction easements and permanent easements for <br />items associated with the Connection Alternatives; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the following is a list of recommended actions, should the City <br />Council wish to proceed with this project: approve the feasibility report, hold a <br />public improvement hearing, order the project, authorize the preparations of <br />plans and specifications, and authorize easement preparation activities for the <br />County Road 10 Trailway Project: Segments 9&10. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The feasibility report for the County Road 10 Trailway Project: <br />Segments 9&10, which was prepared pursuant to Resolution 6716,
