APPROVAL OF MINUTES 9 <br /> 10 <br />The July 24, 2006 City Council Minutes will be presented at the next City Council Meeting, 11 <br />August 24, 2006. 12 <br /> 13 <br />11. REPORTS 14 <br /> 15 <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council 16 <br /> 17 <br />Councilmember Gunn stated that the Festival in the Park is Sunday 18 <br /> 19 <br /> B. Reports of Staff 20 <br /> 21 <br />Director Ericson updated the Council on Clear Channel and the lease agreement for a billboard 22 <br />and to ask for support for trees to be removed in MnDot’s right of way on Highway 10. He 23 <br />stated that Clear Channel is asking for the same letter for the new location as was prepared for 24 <br />the Program Avenue site. 25 <br /> 26 <br />The Council agreed to provide Clear Channel with the letter. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Finance Director Beer indicated that the water meter surcharge will expire in 2007 and can be 29 <br />deleted in 2008 and projections are that it would need a rate increase. 30 <br /> 31 <br />C. Reports of City Attorney 32 <br /> 33 <br />There was none. 34 <br /> 35 <br />12. Next Council Work Session: Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at 7 p.m. 36 <br />Next Council Meeting: Monday, August 28, 2006, at 7 p.m. 37
