<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6955 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GRANTING OF AN EASEMENT TO XCEL <br />ENERGY ON LAND ADJACENT TO 2203 LOIS DRIVE <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, residents Mike Cardinal and Mary Jo Verschay, property owners of <br />32203 Lois Drive, have requested the relocation of utility lines that cross their property; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Xcel Energy has agreed to resolve certain utility issues on the Cardinal <br />/ Verschay property which would involve the erection of two utility poles on City owned land <br />directly behind and adjacent to the Cardinaly/Verschay property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, before the work can commence, the City will need to grant a utility <br />easement to Xcel Energy for the siting of the poles and stringing of utility lines. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View that the attached easement document be executed which will allow for the siting of two <br />utility poles and the stringing of utility lines as shown on the plans submitted by Xcel Energy. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 23rd day of October, 2006. <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />____________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(seal)
