PUBLIC INPUT 29
30
Warren Johnson, 7710 Greenwood Drive, stated that when the street project first began he asked 31
that someone look into dead-ending Greenwood Drive because 80% of the traffic has nothing to 32
do with the neighborhood. He stated the street dead-ends into the shopping center and the street 33
rehab project would be an excellent time to consider dead-ending the street. He stated he has 34
received no response from the City since he initially requested the inquiry. He asked the 35
Council’s opinion about the road improvements he suggested. 36
37
Mayor Marty stated he had not heard about the proposition recently. Mr. Johnson asked how 38
many meetings he must attend before he is given an answer about the status of his suggestion. 39
He added he would like some kind of answer. 40
41
City Administrator Ulrich stated the proposed solution was for a comprehensive traffic study for 42
the entire northwest portion of the City. He stated due to expenses, the study was not approved 43
and current City Staff is doing a much more limited study. He noted the study does not go into 44
much depth regarding street closings similar to what Mr. Johnson is requesting. City 45
