aeLnA___ `7-
• MEMORANDUM
TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
FROM: SAMANTHA ORDUNO, CITY ADMINISTRATOR
DATE: MARCH 21, 1991
RE: 1991 WATER REVENUE BONDS
At the March 4, 1991 Agenda Session, the Council authorized staff
to proceed with the process to issue General Obligation Water
Revenue Bonds in the amount of $2,875,000. The projects covered
under the issue are listed on the Springsted letter which is
attached.
The first step in the issuance process will be formal approval of
the resolution authorizing the sale of the bonds . This resolution
has been prepared by Jim O'Meara of the law firm of Briggs and
Morgan.
Bob Dieke's departure from the firm of Holmes and Graven resulted
in a need to secure a new bond and development counsel. Mr. O'Meara
• is the attorney who is working with us on the issuance of the Fire
Bonds . He is an excellent bond counsel with many years of
experience in municipal activities .
Mr. O'Meara will be at the meeting Monday night to meet the Council
and update you on the issuance of the Water Revenue Bonds as well
as the process currently underway for issuance of the Fire Bonds .
SO/MJS
•
