The City's practice is to certify <br /> these to the County for collection with taxes payable next year. <br /> If Council approves continuing this practice a date should be set <br /> for a public hearing to consider certification of these unpaid <br /> bills to the County. Staff suggests December 10. A letter will <br /> then be sent to all persons with delinquent utility bills and <br /> unpaid tree removal invoices advising them of the hearing and <br /> allowing them to pay the amounts owed prior to the hearing. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Set a public hearing for 7: 05 p.m. on December <br /> 10, 1990 to consider certification of delinquent utility bills <br /> and unpaid tree removal invoices to the County for collection <br /> with taxes payable 1991.
