k <br /> SPECIFICATIONS <br /> FOR <br /> PUBLISHING SIX CITY NEWSLETTERS <br /> • FOR THE <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA <br /> 1. GENERAL <br /> The following specifications are for the printing and publishing of the 1991 <br /> City of Mounds View newsletters. Six (6) newsletters will be printed on a bi- <br /> monthly basis in the year 1991. The bid will be awarded on a thirty-two (32) <br /> page format, with the exceptions of the July/August and November/December <br /> issues which will consist of twenty-four (24) pages, and should be bid per <br /> page. <br /> The bidder shall furnish only the highest quality materials and workmanship. <br /> Failure to do this will be cause for rejection. <br /> The bidder shall show ability to supply artwork, graphics, photo reproduction, <br /> layout, proof reading, pickup and delivery and storage. <br /> Bids not complying with these specifications will be rejected. If additional <br /> features are incorporated at no cost to the City, they may be noted on the <br /> proposal form, but they will not be treated as substitutions for required <br /> • features. The first issue will be delivered to the City of Mounds View in early <br /> December, 1990. <br /> 2. PAPER STOCK <br /> The Newsletter shall be 8-1/2 x 11 inches. Two options for paper stock <br /> should be bid to the following specifications: <br /> Option #1 - White 60# recycled paper with white 80# recycled semi-glossy <br /> cover. <br /> Option #2 - White 60# recycled paper with white 80# recycled non-glossy <br /> cover. <br /> 3. INK <br /> The ink used to print will be: Cover - black with one additional color each <br /> issue. Inside - black. The colors of ink to be used are normal PMS <br /> numbers. <br /> 4. STAPLING AND FOLDING <br /> Each Newsletter will be folded to the 8-1/2 x 11 inch size as previously <br /> described and saddle-stitched. (See enclosed newsletter). <br />
