MEMORANDUM <br /> Memo To: Mayor and Council Members <br /> From Ric Minetor, City Engineer/Director of Public Works <br /> Date October 12, 1990 <br /> Subject: Traffic volumes and origins on Red Oak Drive <br /> Council member Quick requested clarification on the origin of <br /> traffic on Red Oak Drive under the different scenarios and the <br /> contribution of traffic to the airport. The future volumes <br /> presented in the traffic study are based on a 20 year projection. <br /> This includes full development of the Blaine Industrial Park, <br /> Full development of the Airport according to the Airport Master <br /> Plan, full development in Mounds View according to our <br /> Comprehensive plan, and development of the commercial areas in <br /> Circle Pines. <br /> The study information- was not detailed enough to present the <br /> level of airport traffic generated by the neighborhood versus the <br /> airport traffic from outside the area. However, estimates of the <br /> total airport traffic were available. Below are the estimates of <br /> the 20 year projected traffic on Red Oak Drive. The "transient" <br /> traffic is the difference between the total traffic and the local <br /> traffic .
