111 ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY 88-2 <br /> REVISION NO. 1 <br /> POLICY FOR RETENTION OF CITY <br /> COUNCIL MEETING VIDEO TAPES <br /> This policy relates to the retention of City Council Meeting <br /> video tapes . <br /> 1. The televised proceedings of the Mounds View <br /> City Council meetings are presented for the <br /> convenience and information of the residents of <br /> Mounds View. Official actions of the City <br /> Council are set forth in the approved Council <br /> minutes . <br /> 2 . All vidoe tapes shall be retained and made <br /> available for public inspection for a period of <br /> 60 days (with the exception of the tapes held at <br /> the Mounds View Branch Library; see Item 3 .b. of <br /> this policy) or until all scheduled rebroadcasts <br /> have occurred, whichever occurs later. <br /> 3. Any individual wishing to view video tapes of City <br /> Council meetings may do so in the following two <br /> ways: <br /> a. The Clerk-Administrator's Office shall have <br /> a copy of the meeting to loan out for a <br /> period of two days with a $20.00 refundable <br /> deposit. <br /> b. The Mounds View Branch of the Ramsey County <br /> Library, will on a 6 month trial basis, keep <br /> City Council Meeting video tapes at the <br /> library for loan purposes . These tapes will <br /> be stored at the library for 6 months . The <br /> tapes will be loaned out on a library card <br /> basis for two days. The City will carry the <br /> tapes to the library as they become available <br /> after each regular meeting. <br /> The City agreed to provide 3" x 5" filing box <br /> and 3" x 5" index cards to the library for <br /> check out purposes. <br /> It was further agreed that the Library would <br /> • not be held responsible if the video tape was <br /> not returned by the loaning party. <br />
