M P <br /> Mounds View City Council NAPPROVED September 24, 1990 <br /> Regular Meeting Page Seven <br /> Mayor Hankner noted the library had been dedicated <br /> last Saturday evening . <br /> Mayor Hankner expressed concern about the surface <br /> water utility, which has been mandated by the <br /> Legislature to handle surface water. She stated <br /> they are getting as much information as possible. <br /> Mayor Hankner reported she had received a letter <br /> from the Mayor of Blaine advising they are review- <br /> ing and revising their comp plan over the next <br /> 12-18 months, and inviting Mounds View to submit <br /> theirs . Mayor Hankner stated they need to observe <br /> closely what Blaine does, especially in the areas <br /> adjoining Mounds View. <br /> Mr. Frits asked the status of the van which the <br /> Lions Club had offered to fund. <br /> Park and Rec Director Saarion reported she had <br /> recently heard from the State and they have <br /> confirmed they have ordered the van and it should <br /> be here in early 1991 . <br /> 41Iyor Hankner noted the Council will begin the <br /> udgeting process next week and will be working <br /> over the next two months to refine it. It must <br /> be adopted in December. <br /> There being no further business before the Council, 15 .
