Mayor Hankner noted the plan doesn' t follow the homeowners association desires and she was concerned with approving it as it reads. Councilmember Wuori pointed out the park has been designed to be handicapped accessible, and bituminous surfacing would allow that, adding they would need to get into certain areas. Mayor Hankner recommended they take their time and rewrite sections if necessary. Councilmember Blanchard stated she would be willing to withdraw her earlier motion if the Council is committed to discussing it and going forward on it. Mayor Hankner stated it would be helpful to have a written statement from the homeowners association, for discussion at the next agenda session and action at the next regular meeting. Debbie Jones, 7405 Park View Drive, stated she feels a sense of urgency in getting this moving. She stated she has reviewed the plan carefully and found many discrepencies, which she has noted and turned in. • She added she hoped the document could be cleaned up before it is approved. Upon City Attorney's Review Mr. McCarty asked what the requirements of the Charter are. Mayor Hankner explained it was not taken to the Charter Commission, but a number of Charter Commission members served on this committee, and it was reviewed with respect to the Charter. The review by the attorney was also done with respect to the Charter. .
