16.3 The EMPLOYER has the right of final decision in the selection <br /> 111 <br /> of employees to fill posted jobs based on qualifications, <br /> abilities and experience. <br /> 16.4 Job vacancies within the designated bargaining unit will be <br /> posted for five (5) working days so that members of the <br /> bargaining unit can be considered for such vacancies. <br /> ARTICLE XVII. INSURANCE <br /> 17.1 The CITY will contribute up to a maximum of two <br /> hundred twenty-five dollars ($225.00) per month per <br /> employee for group health and life insurance including <br /> dependent coverage for calendar 1990. <br /> 17.2 By mutual agreement EMPLOYEES may use twenty-five dollars <br /> ($25.00) of the per month per employee of health insurance <br /> dollars for dental insurance. <br /> 17.3 EMPLOYEES not choosing dependent coverage cannot be <br /> covered at CITY expense for any additional insurance than the <br /> individual group health and group life insurance. Additional <br /> life insurance can be purchased by EMPLOYEES at the <br /> EMPLOYEE's expense to the extent allowed under the CITY's <br /> group policy. <br /> ARTICLE XVIII INJURY ON DUTY. <br /> The Injury on duty benefit will be sixty (60) days with the first three <br /> (3) days to come out of sick leave and then sixty (60) days injury on <br /> duty. Any days beyond the sixty (60) days will then be taken from the <br /> EMPLOYEE's banked sick leave. EMPLOYEES receiving benefits under <br /> this ARTICLE shall not receive payments from the CITY which causes <br /> the EMPLOYEE to earn more than the EMPLOYEE's after tax take home <br /> pay earned while working. <br /> 8 • <br />
