MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> 411 RESOLUTION NO. 284-90 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUESTED PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br /> AMENDMENT AND SITE DESIGN PLANS FOR A PROPOSED BUILDING EXPANSION <br /> FOR MULTI-TECH SYSTEMS, INC. , 2200 WOODALE DRIVE, <br /> PLANNING CASE NO. 292-90 <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed <br /> the requested planned unit development amendment by Multi-Tech <br /> Systems, Inc. that would allow a building expansion and additional <br /> parking that includes an above and below grade parking ramp; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the <br /> proposal meets the minimum yard setbacks, exceeds the parking <br /> requirements and provides for a revised landscaping plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the <br /> potential access issue to the property to the west and recognize <br /> that the proposed plan does not provide an easement to the west <br /> property through the Multi Tech site; and <br /> • WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed City <br /> Forester, Wriskey's memo dated March 29, 1990, regarding the <br /> proposed landscaping on this site and agrees with the comments and <br /> suggestions made; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed City <br /> Engineer, Minetor's memo dated March 29, 1990, regarding the <br /> grading, utilities and drainage on this site and agrees with the <br /> comments and suggestions made; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Fire Department has reviewed the proposed <br /> expansion and requires a direct route around the entire building; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to meet this requirement, the applicant <br /> has proposed a below grade road on the west side of the building <br /> in order to allow emergency vehicles around the perimeter of the <br /> building; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed below grade road has been found to <br /> be conceptually acceptable to the City Engineer; and <br /> WHEREAS, details of the below grade road must be <br /> submitted for review prior to final action; and <br />
