Call to <br /> Mayor Hankner at 7:04 PM on Monday, January 22, Order <br /> 1990. <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was said. 2. Pledge of <br /> Allegiance <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Quick, Blanchard, 3. Roll Call <br /> Paone, Wuori and Mayor Hankner. <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Karney, Clerk/Admini- <br /> strator Pauley, Public Works Director Minetor and <br /> City Planner Hren. <br /> • Mayor Hankner announced that due to the large turn- 4. Residents <br /> out of residents for a single issue, the order of Requests and <br /> the agenda would be changed, to take residents Comments from <br /> comments at this time. the Floor <br /> Mayor Hankner reported the Council held an informa- <br /> tional meeting with MnDOT on January 8, at City Hall <br /> to advise the residents of plans for construction of <br /> Highway 610 and reconstruction of County Road J. <br /> Many questions have been raised since that time by <br /> residents of that area, and a survey was quickly put <br /> together by the Council and distributed..over the <br /> weekend. <br /> MnDOT and elected officials had been contacted earlier <br /> in the day to attend the meeting but were unable to <br /> due to the short notice, so they will be given video <br /> tapes of the meeting and will be invited to a later <br /> meeting. <br /> Staff has quickly researched City records and found <br /> resolutions from 1977, 1979 and 1980 expressing <br /> concerns about traffic, but nothing giving explicit <br /> approval of the project has been found. The <br /> • Commissioner of Transportation gave formal approval <br /> in 1986 atthe time of acceptance of the EIS. Staff <br /> is researching time constraints. <br />
