Because the property was purchased after October 15 , the County was required to prepay the 1990 assessments, but because they were already certified to the tax department, we were also required to pay the 1990 interest on the pre-payment . Seeing as the 1990 assessments are paid already, it only seems logical that we should not have to pay the estimated 1990 interest on this payment . The Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation needs a resolution from the Mounds View City Council in order for them to waive collection of this prospective interest payment. We respectfully request that the Mounds View City Council pass a resolution stating that Mounds View will waive the prospective interest on the pre-paid 1990 assessments due on the site for the new Mounds View Library. The resolution should include the legal description ( Lot 1 , Block 12 , Silver Lake Woods ) and also the property identification number (P. I .N. 07-30-23-11-0011-7) .
