• Councilmember introduced the following resolution, <br /> the reading of which was dispensed with by unanimous consent, and moved its <br /> adoption: <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3 01 1 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MODIFICATION OF <br /> DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 2 AND THE <br /> DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM RELATING THERETO <br /> AND MODIFYING TAX INCREMENT FINANCING <br /> DISTRICT NO. 1 AND APPROVING THE MODIFIED <br /> TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN RELATING <br /> THERETO. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Mounds <br /> View, Minnesota (the "City"), as follows: <br /> Section 1. Recitals. • <br /> • 1.01. The City established Development District No. 2 and Tax Increment <br /> Financing District No. 1 therein on September 22, 1986 and approved and adopted <br /> the Development Program and Tax Increment Financing Plan with respect thereto, <br /> all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 to <br /> 469.134, as amended, and Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.174 to 469.179, <br /> inclusive, as amended. <br /> 1.02. The Council has investigated the facts and has caused to be prepared <br /> a proposed Modification No. 2 to the Development Program for Development <br /> District No. 2, defining the property to be included in the Modified Development <br /> District No. 2 and describing the action to be undertaken by the City to aid the <br /> •eve opmen o 'eve o• - - :' -, . 1 -. . -. . <br /> proposed Modified Tax Increment Financing Plan defining the property to be <br /> included in Tax Increment Financing District No. 1 Modification No. 2 and other <br /> matters relating thereto. <br /> 1.03. The City has performed all actions required by law to be performed <br /> prior to the modification of Development District No. 2, the modification of Tax <br /> Increment Financing District No. 1 and the adoption of the proposed Modified <br /> Development Program and proposed Modified Tax Increment Financing Plan <br /> relating thereto, including, but not limited to, notification of Ramsey County, <br /> School District No. 621, and Special Independent School District No. 96 having <br /> taxing jurisdiction over the property to be included in Tax Increment Financing <br /> District No. 1 Modification, a review by the City Planning Commission of the <br /> proposed Land Use Plan, and the holding of a public hearing upon published and <br /> • mailed notice as reuqired by law. <br /> 1 <br />
