Mounds View City CouncilAPPROVED March 12, 1990 <br /> Regular Meeting Page Five <br /> • Motion/Second: Quick/Paone to approve the purchase <br /> of video taping equipment, including an editing <br /> recorder/player, editing source player, editing <br /> controller, and dubbing cable, at a sum total of <br /> $7, 895 from EPA, to be funded from monies in the <br /> Cable Fund. <br /> 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained Mayor Hankner 14. Consideration <br /> had received a proposal in the mail to declare of Resolution <br /> Earth Day in Mounds View, which would be accomplished No. 3012 <br /> by proposed Resolution No. 3012. <br /> Mayor Hankner requested that a notice be posted <br /> on the board outside prior to the actual day, to <br /> help make people aware. <br /> Motion/Second: Paone/Blanchard to approve Resolution <br /> No. 3012, declaring April 22, 1990 as Earth Day 1990, <br /> and waive the reading. <br /> 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> • Clerk/Administrator Pauley reviewed proposed 15. Consideration <br /> Resolution No. 3008. of Resolution <br /> No. 3008 <br /> Motion/Second: Quick/Paone to approve Resolution <br /> No. 3008, extending garbage and rubbish haulers <br /> licenses, and waive the reading. <br /> 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Mayor Hankner explained this had been discussed with <br /> the garbage haulers at the last agenda session, and <br /> the criteria that was established by the Council. <br /> She also explained what volume based structure is. <br /> Attorney Karney reported Harstad Companies has 16. Report of <br /> filed for bankruptcy. As they owe the City money Attorney <br /> on fees, a notice will be filed with the bankruptcy <br /> court on behalf of the City. There is also a pend- <br /> ing lawsuit with them, which they filed against the <br /> City. The attorneys fees are high and there is a <br /> possibility they may be held responsible for them, <br /> so that will be included with the filing with the <br /> court. <br /> • <br /> There were no reports of Staff members. 17.
