Call to <br /> Mayor Hankner at 7:05 PM on Monday, May 14, 1990. Order <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was said. 2. Pledge of <br /> Allegiance <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Quick, Blanchard, 3. Roll Call <br /> Paone, Wuori and Mayor Hankner. <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Public Works <br /> Director/City Engineer Minetor and City Planner Hren. <br /> Motion/Second: Wuori/Quick to table approval of the 4. Approval of <br /> April 23, 1990 minutes for two weeks. Minutes: <br /> April 23, 1990 <br /> III 5 ayes 0 nays <br /> Motion Carried <br /> Public Works Director/City Engineer Minetor reviewed 5. First Quarter <br /> the activities of the public works, engineering, Department <br /> building, water, sewe::: and parks maintenance depart- Head Reports <br /> ments for the first quarter. He also reviewed pro- <br /> jects which are being done during the second quarter, <br /> as far as what is in progress and what has to be done. <br /> Finance Director Brager reviewed the activities of the <br /> finance department for the first quarter, as well as <br /> upcoming activities for the second quarter. <br /> Mr. Brager reviewed the impact the City will be feeling <br /> from actions the Legislature has taken concerning <br /> state aid. The City will be faced with a $31, 000 <br /> permanent annual cut in state aid. The 1991 budget <br /> will be a challenge, and he reviewed the process to <br /> be followed for budgeting next year. <br /> Mayor Hankner asked that Mr. Brager provide the <br /> Council with an update on all areas of the budget <br /> 0 for 1990, and what the account balances are. <br />
