NI-tem/L.-- i, <br /> MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br /> FROM: CLERK-ADMINISTRATOR <br /> DATE: MAY 1, 1990 <br /> SUBJECT: GARBAGE AND RUBBISH HAULERS' LICENSING FEE <br /> Now that you have adopted Ordinance No. 486 implementing a new <br /> garbage and rubbish code for the City of Mounds View, I would <br /> like to recommend that the Council consider revising the <br /> licensing fees for garbage and rubbish haulers to be more <br /> reflective of the requirements of the new code. Currently our <br /> licensing fees provide for a $55.00 per year for garbage and <br /> rubbish haulers. The new garbage and rubbish code provides <br /> for a license for the hauler plus a license for each vehicle <br /> used by the hauler in the City. I would recommend that the <br /> new licensing fee be $55.00 per year plus $5 .00 per vehicle to <br /> cover our costs in issuing licenses.
