a <br /> MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL111 <br /> PAGE TWO <br /> MAY 2, 1990 <br /> governments by stating that, if the aid cuts made in the Bill <br /> for pay 1992 are not at least $175 million compared to current <br /> law, counties, cities, and special taxing districts will be <br /> subject to further aid cuts based upon their revenue bases. <br /> We will not know what the impact of that provision will be <br /> until sometime in 1991, hopefully prior to certification of <br /> our 1992 aids. <br /> It is my hope that Mr. Brager and I will be able to provide <br /> you with detailed information at your May 7th Agenda Session <br /> in order that you may take action at the May 14th Council <br /> Meeting to implement cuts in the City's 1990 budget equal to <br /> the loss in local government aids.
