MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: Planning Commission <br /> FROM: City Planner, Hren <br /> DATE: March 21, 1990 <br /> SUBJECT: Tom Plumb Variance Request <br /> Please find attached a copy of the proposed three season porch <br /> addition by Mr. Tom Plumb, owner of 7359 Park View Drive in Mounds <br /> View. <br /> The lot does not have four corners therefore is considered somewhat <br /> unique in shape. The Zoning Code indicates that the in these <br /> cases the front of the lot is determined by the orientation of the <br /> house therefore the front of the house faces south and the proposes <br /> addition is in the rear yard. The R1 District requires a 30 foot <br /> setback in the rear yard. The applicant would like to encroach <br /> approximately 5.5 feet into the rear yard. <br /> Please find attached the criteria used for evaluating variance • <br /> requests per the Zoning Code.
