MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 199-87 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING LEO STURGES REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE <br /> AT 5433 QUINCY STREET, MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE NO. 221-87 <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has requested a five foot variance <br /> from the side yard setback requirements; and <br /> WHEREAS, the existing driveway extends five feet abutting the <br /> side yard lot line; and <br /> WHEREAS, the hardship is that the zoning ordinance does not <br /> allow adequate space for a two car driveway on a 65 foot lot; and <br /> WHEREAS, the property is subject to drainage problems <br /> creating unique circumstances; and <br /> WHEREAS, the special circumstances do not result from actions <br /> of the applicant; and <br /> WHEREAS, granting the variance request will not confer on the <br /> applicant any special priviledges; and <br /> WHEREAS, the variance request will alleviate the hardship; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the variance is not materially detrimental to the <br /> City Code. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br /> Commission approves the request by Leo Sturges; <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br /> Commission grants a five foot side yard variance for 5433 Quincy <br /> Street. <br /> Adopted this 5th day of August, 1987. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Chairman <br /> (SEAL) <br /> • <br /> City Planner <br />
