Call to <br /> order by Chairman Mountin at 7 : 32 PM on Wednesday, Order <br /> September 2, 1987. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Saunders, Zollner , 2 . Roll Call <br /> Burgers, Miller and Chairman Mountin. <br /> It was noted Commissioner Forslund had an excused <br /> absence, and Commissioner Peters had an unexcused <br /> absence. <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Councilmember Wuori. <br /> Motion/Second: Zollner/Saunders to approve the 3 . Approval of <br /> August 5, 1987 minutes as corrected. Minutes: <br /> August 5 , 1987 <br /> 4115 ayes 0 nays <br /> Motion Carried <br /> Deborah Otto, 7405 Park View Drive, stated she had 4 . Residents <br /> requested a building permit for an addition to her Requests and <br /> home, which was denied by City Staff, and she is Comments from <br /> before the Planning Commission to request a variance the Floor <br /> and ask that they expedite it, if at all possible. <br /> Ms. Otto explained that her property, which is located <br /> in the Silver Lake Woods development, abutts the pond, <br /> and the house itself, which was built in 1985 , is <br /> within the wetland buffer, according to City code. <br /> She explained that for economic reasons, when the house <br /> was built, she was not able to include a planned <br /> family room or additional bedrooms above that, or the <br /> basement below, but now she has closed on a second <br /> mortgage to put on the addition, and each day the <br /> contractor is held up, it is costing her interest, and <br /> it is delaying her from locking into refinancing for <br /> the entire house. She added the existing home has 700 <br /> square feet per floor, and she needs the additional <br /> room. <br /> • <br /> • <br />
