He explained there had been some changes in management of the project, and considerable re- search had been done on hot air dryers, which are required by the City. Upon making a decision and applying for the building permit, they discovered it had just expired. They are ready to go ahead with construction and are facing a deadline with weather for construction. He stated they are asking for renewal of the permit with all conditions originally set, and they are willing to build the facility just the way the Planning Commission wants it. Ms. Hren explained a public hearing will be required at the Council level . Chair Mountin reviewed some of the major issues that were discussed at the time the original permit was granted, including traffic flow, stacking patterns, timing, and use of blowers.
