RESOLUTION NO. 268-89 • CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST BY AMOCO OIL COMPANY, 2155 HIGHWAY AVENUE, PLANNING CASE NO. 241-88 WHEREAS, Amoco Oil Company has requested City approval to construct a self-service car wash at 2155 Highway Avenue in the City of Mounds View; and WHEREAS, the development, as proposed, requires a condi- tional use permit and development approval; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the follow- ing documents regarding this development proposal : 1 ) Site Plan 2 ) Signage Plan WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the development proposal is in conformance with the requirements of • Chapter 40. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission once reviewed and approved the conditional use permit per Resolution No. 233-88, adopted on August 17, 1988. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Mounds View approves the conditional use permit with the following conditions : 1 ) The facility must, at all times, be in compliance with State Laws and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Standards for air quality and noise. 2 ) The car wash facility shall include a blower system designed to remove as much water as feasible from the vehicle before it allowed to exit the facility. This equipment shall operate as a customer option from April 16 to October 14 and as a mandatory service from October. 15 through April 15. 3 ) The conditional use permit and the conditions placed upon it be recorded on the title with the County Recorder ' s Office . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that. the Planning Commission directs Staff to forward this resolution to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes .
