If the moratorium was not Case No. 286-89 <br /> in place,, the proposed sign would meet the requirements <br /> of the sign ordinance. <br /> Motion/Second: Miller/Zollner to adopt Resolution <br /> No. 276-89,. recommending to the City Council denial <br /> of the request by TJB Builders for a waiver of the <br /> Highway 10 moratorium district requirements, Planning <br /> Case No. 286-89. <br /> 6 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Ms. Hren read a statement from Commissioner Burgers, <br /> • stating he did not feel there was an undue hardship <br /> displayed by the applicant. <br /> It was the concensus of the Planning Commission in <br /> denying the request that an undue hardship had not <br /> been shown. <br /> Chair Mountin noted the bylaws call for the election 8. Other <br /> of the Vice-Chair at the first meeting in January, Business <br /> and she asked if the Chair had been appointed by the <br /> Council yet . <br /> Councilmember Wuori replied no, but she feels it <br /> would be safe to assume Chair Mountin would be <br /> reappointed. <br /> Motion/Second: Miller/Jones to appoint Commissioner <br /> Zollner as Vice-Chair for 1990. <br /> 6 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Chair Mountin advised she would not be present at <br /> the February 7 meeting. <br /> Ms. Hren passed out a memo to the Council con- <br /> cerning redevelopment, and advised this is in the <br /> discussion stage, and if it develops into anything, <br /> it will be sent on to the Planning Commission for <br /> their input. <br />
