MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> 411 RESOLUTION NO. 292-90 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A TEXT <br /> AMENDMENT BY KRAUS-ANDERSON TO ALLOW A FURNITURE SHOWROOM <br /> IN A B-2 DISTRICT, PLANNING CASE NO. 298-90 <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has <br /> reviewed the request by Kraus-Anderson for a Zoning Code text <br /> amendment that would allow a furniture showroom in a B-2, <br /> Limited Business District; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the uses <br /> allowed in the B-2, B-3 and B-4 Business Zoning Districts; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has taken into <br /> consideration the location of other B-2 Districts throughout <br /> the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the <br /> compatibility of the furniture showroom with the uses allowed <br /> in the B-2 District and has found the use to be in keeping <br /> with the nature and intent of the B-2 Zoning District. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br /> Planning Commission recommends to the Mounds View City Council <br /> approval of the requested text amendment based on the <br /> following: <br /> 1. The definition of a furniture showroom will be, "a <br /> retail facility for the sole purpose of displaying <br /> items for selection but not inventoried on site" . <br /> 2.
