111 MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 316-91 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE REQUEST BY NORB YENISH, <br /> 2149 PROGRAM AVENUE, PLANNING CASE NO. 324-91 <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Norb Yenish has requested a variance to <br /> allow the construction of a sign at a height which is grater than <br /> that which is allowed by the Municipal Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Yenish is requesting a 15 '-0" variance <br /> from the height limits for a sign on his property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that <br /> the property has a uniqueness to it not of the applicant's <br /> making; specifically, properties adjacent to the parcel were <br /> allowed to increase their elevations by 10'-0" , thus, creating a <br /> hardship for the applicant; and <br /> WHEREAS, no reasonable alternatives for the height of <br /> 0 the sign exist; and <br /> WHEREAS, the requested variance is the minimum needed <br /> to alleviate the hardship; and <br /> WHEREAS, the granting of the variance will not confer a <br /> privilege to the owner which is not enjoyed by other residents . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br /> Planning Commission grants a 15 '-0" variance for height of a sign <br /> at 2149 Program Avenue. <br /> Adopted this 7th day of August, 1991. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> 1 r; <br /> hai a. <br /> (SEAL) <br /> `�- / //i C.1Plgnner l <br />
