• S <br /> MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 383-94 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A REZONING REQUEST O <br /> EVEREST DEVELOPMENT, PLANNING CASE NO. 36793 <br /> WHEREAS, Everest Development has made applicati©n to reaone <br /> a portion of the property located South of County Road 72 , <br /> Northeast of Highway 10 from B-3, Highway Business to PUD, Planned <br /> Unit Development; and <br /> WHEREAS, the property is legally known as: <br /> Lot 2, Block 1 Mounds View Business Park West Additi-gn; end <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 1125.01, Subdivision 1(e) of the i,ounds <br /> View Municipal Code provides that the Planning Commission shall <br /> consider possible adverse effects of the proposed amendment. It <br /> further states that judgement shall be based upon, but not >ni t;F to, <br /> the following factors: <br /> 1. Relationship to Municipal Comprehensive Plan <br /> 2. The geographical area involved <br /> 3 . Whether such use will tend to or actually depreciate <br /> the area in which it is proposed <br /> 4. The character of the surrounding area <br /> 5. The demonstrated need for such use; ,and <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed <br /> the request in relation to the aforementioned criteria; and <br /> WHEREAS, the rezoning request is consistent with the City's <br /> current Comprehensive Land Use Plan designation for this property <br /> which is mixed use planned unit development; and <br /> WHEREAS, approval of the request will provide for a zoning <br /> designation which is consistent with the current and proposed land <br /> use. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br /> Commission recommends approval of the request to rezone the property <br /> legally known as: <br /> Lot 2, Block 1 Mounds View Business Park West Addition <br /> from B-3, Highway Business to PUD, Planned Unit Development. <br /> • <br />
