MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 384-94 <br /> 411 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A REZONING REQUEST Ot <br /> WESTMINSTER CORPORATION, PLANNING CASE NO. 375-94 <br /> WHEREAS, Westminster Corporation has made applicatiG;, to <br /> rezone a portion of the property located North of County Em6 ,d <br /> Southeast of Highway 10 from B-2, Limited Business to PUD, Planned <br /> Unit Development; and <br /> WHEREAS, the property is legally known as: <br /> Lot 1, Block 9 Silver Lake Woods; and <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 1125.01, Subdivision 1(e) of the Mounds <br /> View Municipal Code provides that the Planning Commission 2ha11 <br /> consider possible adverse effects of the proposed amen•ffent0 it <br /> further states that judgement shall be based upon, but no f_ :, _ L 'Le_ t©, <br /> the following factors: <br /> 1. Relationship to Municipal Comprehensive Plan <br /> 2. The geographical area involved <br /> 3. Whether such use will tend to or actually depreciate <br /> 410 the area in which it is proposed <br /> 4. The character of the surrounding area <br /> 5. The demonstrated need for such use; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed <br /> the request in relation to the aforementioned criteria; and <br /> WHEREAS, the rezoning request is consistent with the City's <br /> current Comprehensive Land Use Plan designation for this property <br /> which is mixed use planned unit development; and <br /> WHEREAS, approval of the request will provide for a zoning <br /> designation which is consistent with the current and proposed land <br /> use. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br /> Commission recommends approval of the request to rezone the property <br /> legally known as: <br /> Lot 1, Block 9 Silver Lake Woods <br /> from B-2, Limited Business to PUD, Planned Unit Development. <br />
