Mounds View Planning Commission August 3 , 1994 <br /> �egular Meeting Page 5 <br /> Motion/Second: Stevenson/Ruggles to <br /> approve Resolution No. 398-94 , denying <br /> the variance request of Bruce Bogie, <br /> 2572 Ardan Avenue. <br /> 7 ayes 0 nays <br /> Motion Carried <br /> Planner Harrington informed the <br /> applicant that this item would be on the <br /> August 22 (or August 29) City Council <br /> agenda. <br /> At this time Mr. Richard Gerlach of the <br /> Townsedge Terrace Tenants Association, <br /> 2200 Kingsway Lane, was identified. He <br /> indicated that he was present in favor <br /> of the variance request of Townsedge <br /> Terrace . He informed the Planning <br /> Commission that he and the tenants <br /> association have been working for three <br /> years to get a shelter facility for the <br /> • residents of the park. <br /> Planner Harrington distributed the draft <br /> of the Nuisance Ordinance (Nuisances, 9 . Staff Report <br /> Animals and Refuse) . Mr. Harrington <br /> requested that the Planning Commission <br /> review the ordinance and make a list of <br /> comments to be discussed in two weeks <br /> (at their agenda meeting) which would <br /> then be forwarded to the City Council. <br /> Commissioner Ruggles informed Mr. <br /> Harrington that he would be leaving for <br /> vacation on the 9th of August and <br /> returning in October. <br /> Planner Harrington informed the <br /> Commission that Colonial Village would <br /> be before the Planning Commission again <br /> in September. He also informed them <br /> that Roger Miller, 5064 Irondale Road, <br /> who had requested a variance to allow <br /> concrete steps within the right-of-way <br /> is planning to move the steps back and <br /> 1111 therefore withdrawing his variance <br /> request.
