Special Meeting Page 3 <br /> Bioclean Mobile Wash, Inc., is requesting an Bioclean Mobile <br /> extension on a variance granted on July 5, Wash, 2151 Mustang <br /> 1995. She added that the variance was to Drive, Planning Case <br /> allow construction of an addition to their No. 450-96 <br /> existing facility at a thirty-foot rear yard setback <br /> where a forty-foot setback is required by <br /> Municipal Code. Acting Director Pruitt went on <br /> to explain that if Resolution No. 456-96 is <br /> approved, she would recommend placing a <br /> contingency in the resolution that if the work is <br /> not completed within one year the variance <br /> would be null and void unless an extension is <br /> granted by the Board of Variances and <br /> Appeals. <br /> Mr. Greg Kelly, a representative for Bioclean, <br /> explained that no cleaning occurs on site and <br /> the operation is mobile in nature. <br /> Commission Brasaemle suggested that <br /> Resolution No. 456-96 state, "WHEREAS, on <br /> July 5, 1995, the Planning Commission <br /> adopted Resolution No. 420-95 granting the <br /> variance." <br /> Director Pruitt explained that if the variance <br /> was approved by the Planning Commission it <br /> would be a completed process and would not <br /> be forwarded to the City Council. <br /> The Planning Commission discussed with the <br /> representative that the industry has until <br /> August 15 to ensure that wash water does not <br /> enter into the storm sewer. The applicant <br /> notified the Planning Commission that they are <br /> the only mobile wash company which uses a <br /> vacuum system which prohibits water from <br /> going down the sewer system for customers <br /> who request it. The applicant then explained <br /> they are now required by federal law to prevent <br /> wash water from entering into the storm sewer. <br />
