Pick, 2725 <br /> Acting Director Pruitt began the public hearing Sherwood Road, <br /> by explaining that the applicant is requesting a Planning Case No. <br /> variance to construct a six foot high privacy 446-96 <br /> fence around a corner yard property at 2725 <br /> Sherwood Road which is a two foot variance <br /> from the 48" in height allowed by Code. She <br /> noted that the applicant's property is on a <br /> corner, thus, 4' in height is allowed by Code <br /> along both Red Oak Drive and Sherwood <br /> Road. She explained that the applicant is <br /> requesting the 2' variance for reasons of safety. <br /> The applicant attributes the safety concerns to <br /> a large mound on the edge of his property <br /> along Red Oak Drive.
