Mounds View Planning Commission December 4, 1996 <br /> Regular Meeting Page 2 <br /> 5. <br /> Planning Case No. 466-96 <br /> 7532 and 7540 Silver Lake Road <br /> Applicant: Larry Beach, on behalf of Richard Edin and William Culbert <br /> Request for a minor subdivision to move 12.5 feet from 7532 Silver Lake Road to 7540 <br /> Silver Lake Road. <br /> The applicant, Larry Beach, was not present. <br /> Planning Associate Ericson explained that the applicant is requesting a minor <br /> subdivision to move 12.5 feet from 7532 Silver Lake Road to 7540 Silver Lake <br /> Road to satisfy a previous arrangement made between the property owners. <br /> Commissioner Miller had a concern with Item b of Resolution No. 488-96 which <br /> stated that if both dwelling units are burned or destroyed, minimum lot widths shall <br /> prevail as for single family homes. Director Sheldon and the Planning Commission <br /> clarified that if, in the future, the dwelling is destroyed, in order to build single family <br /> • homes, the lots would need to meet minimum lot width requirements for single <br /> family homes. <br /> Motion/Second: Brooks/Brasaemle to approve Resolution No. 488-96 as amended <br /> recommending approval of a minor subdivision for Larry Beach, representing the property <br /> owners of 7532 and 7540 Silver Lake Road, Planning Case No. 466-96. <br /> Motion Carried: 6 ayes, 0 nays <br /> 6. <br /> Planning Case No. 468-96 <br /> 2375 and 2395 Highway 10 <br /> Applicant: Saturn Development <br /> Request for approval of a variance to allow directional signs at driveway entrances (one <br /> on Highway 10 and one on County Road H2) <br /> The applicant, Saturn Development, was not present. <br /> Community Development Director Sheldon explained the request from Saturn <br /> • Development for a sign variance that would allow them to install two additional <br /> monument signs, one on Highway 10 and one on County Road H2.
