Mounds View Planning Commission May 21, 1997 <br /> • Regular Meeting Page 7 <br /> Motion/Second: Brasaemle/Miller to approve Resolution No. 509-97, "Resolution <br /> Approving a Reduction in the Front Setback Requirement from 30 Feet to 26 Feet for <br /> Construction of a Covered Entryway at 5377 Quincy Street; Planning Case No. 484-97", <br /> as amended. <br /> Commissioner Brasaemle commented that he did not see this request as being a <br /> major problem in light of other setbacks along Quincy Street and the fact that the <br /> lot is shallow. Chair Peterson added that he was not familiar with the situation <br /> when the lot was platted in 1989, but that additional property may have been taken <br /> with the reconstruction and widening of Quincy Street. <br /> Motion Carried: 7 ayes, 0 nays <br /> Chair Peterson informed the applicant that this item does not require City Council <br /> action and that final approval has been granted. <br /> 8. Chairperson and PlanningCommissioners Reports <br /> p <br /> Members present at the May 7, 1997, meeting were Commissioners Brooks, Obert, <br /> Miller, Brasaemle, and Chair Peterson. (Commissioners Stevenson and Johnston <br /> had excused absences). <br /> Also present were Community Development Director Sheldon, Planning Associate <br /> Ericson and Council Liaison Koopmeiners. <br /> 10.
