Peterson suggested bringing up the truth-in-housing issue before the City Council again to reinvestigate the possibility of hiring the required staff to perform this duty. It was the consensus of the Commission to include in the Comprehensive Plan Update a truth-in-housing regulation that would make it a requirement that all health and safety related issues be brought up to code before a home could be sold. Chairperson and Planning Commission Reports Director Jopke told the Commission the theater project is still on hold waiting for the owner to amend the contract with the general contractor. Building permits will be issued as soon as the contract is renegotiated and signed. The City Council approved the amended PUD plan for Silverview Estates Senior Cooperative development by Realife of Mounds View Inc. All members of the Commission were given copies to review of applications for the open Planning Commission position. The City Council authorized staff to enter into an option to purchase and request RFPs on the vacant Midland Videen property. 7.
