Mounds View Planning Commission November 4, 1998
• Regular Meeting Page 5
The Planning Commission directed staff to convey to the City Council its request to apply
for a Comprehensive Plan Update completion date extension.
6. Chairperson and Planning Commissioners Reports
Ericson told the Commission the Holiday Station Store will be installing the light baffles as
requested and approved in the development review. A sprinkler system has also been
installed at the facility. Peterson asked if an RV dump facility had been installed. Ericson
stated there is an RV dump site on the south side of the building.
Ericson stated the discussion of Comprehensive Plan Public Facilities element will also be
deferred until the next Planning Commission meeting because not all Commissioners are in
attendance. And there will be no extra Planning Commission work session meeting during
November.
No reports were submitted by the Commissioners.
Brasaemle stated for the record: "It would be my hope that we [the Planning
Commission]will have a cordial and cooperative working relationship with the incoming
•
Council, despite whatever differences may have existed in the past; that we need to move
forward rather than rehashing old business." Congratulations were extended to all newly
elected officials. The rest of the Commission concurred with Brasaemle's comments.
7. Adjournment to the Agenda Meeting
There being no further business before the Planning Commission, Chairperson Peterson
adjourned the meeting at 7:48 p.m.
(The Agenda Session was held immediately following the adjournment of the Regular
Session.)
Respectfully submitted,
Rick Jopke
Community Development Director
N:\DATA\USERS\BARBB\SHARE\KEEP-IT\WPDOCS\COMMDE V\PLANNING\MINUTES\11-04-98.REG
•
