• Mounds View Planning Commission July 7, 1999 <br /> Regular Meeting Page 26 <br /> Jopke stated that, as the billboards would have to be on City owned property, the City would <br /> ultimately have control over their location. He stated that staff would continue to work with the City <br /> Attorney, and report back to the Planning Commission at a future meeting. <br /> 10. Staff Reports /Items of Information <br /> A. Previous Council Action <br /> Community Development Director Jopke reported on City Council actions from their meeting on <br /> June 28 and July 6. <br /> B. Meiho Lee Subdivision Update <br /> Planning Associate Ericson reported that staff was continuing to research the drainage issues relating <br /> to the Meiho Lee Subdivision. He stated that the property owners south of the subject property do <br /> not appear to support this proposal, due to the possible impact to the drainage, and the possibility of <br /> • flooding in this area. He stated that one of the property owners to the south of the applicant's <br /> property who owns a through-lot, indicated that he would not be agreeable to giving consent to allow <br /> for a drainage way through his property to direct the run-off to the wetland. Ericson stated that he <br /> had spoken with the applicant who is aware that this matter might take some time to resolve. He <br /> added that when further information comes before the Planning Commission, staff would notify the <br /> property owners who indicated that they would like to attend the discussion. <br /> C. Upcoming Planning Cases /Public Hearings <br /> Planning Associate Ericson reported that there would be many planning cases coming before the <br /> Planning Commission for consideration in the future. He stated that there were currently two <br /> Conditional Use Permit requests for oversize garages, and a request from Holiday Station Stores <br /> wetland alteration permit request and vacation of a drainage and utility easement, which were <br /> pending. <br /> 11. Chairperson and Planning Commissioners Reports <br /> No other reports were considered. <br /> 12. Adjournment <br /> • There being no further business before the Planning Commission, Chair Peterson adjourned the <br /> meeting at 10:27 p.m. <br />
