MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> FROM: PAUL HARRINGTON, PLANNER , <br /> DATE: June 13, 1991 <br /> SUBJECT: VARIANCE REQUEST, DAVID BRIDGES <br /> 8032 SUNNYSIDE ROAD <br /> Mr. David Bridges has made application for a variance to allow <br /> the construction of a 24 '-0" x 24 '-0 " detached garage at 8032 <br /> Sunnyside Road. <br /> The applicants property is located within an R-1, Single Family <br /> zone district. Mounds View Municipal Code allows the placement <br /> of garages at a 5'-0" side lot line setback. The request is to <br /> allow the garage to be located approximately 2 '-0" from the side <br /> lot line. <br /> Currently, the property has a 14 '-0" x 20 '-0" garage with an <br /> • attached 8 °-0" x 13 '-0" porch. This structure would be removed <br /> and the proposed structure would be placed in the same location- <br /> incorporating the existing concrete slab in the construction. <br /> I have included the application, site plans and applicants ' <br /> statement of hardship for your review. <br /> If there is any additional information you need, please do not <br /> hesitate to give me a call. <br />
