A- 1� <br /> • DAI-IL.. <br /> &ASSOCIATES, INC. <br /> Environmental Consultants,Contractors&Engineers <br /> Minnesota•Illinois•Arizona <br /> July 18, 1991 <br /> Mr. Paul Harrington <br /> Planning Technician <br /> City of Mounds View <br /> 2401 Highway 10 <br /> Mounds View, MN 55112 <br /> Dear Mr. Harrington: <br /> Re: Pollution Abatement Accessory Building to be Located at 2901 Highway 10,Mounds <br /> View, Minnesota. <br /> This letter is to request the City of Mounds View to grant Dahl &Associates,Inc. a variance <br /> of the sideyard setback requirement of 20' to 5' from the northwest property line for the <br /> purpose of constructing a pollution abatement accessory building (10' x 18' x 10' high). The <br /> product recovery building would be built with split face masonry blocks. Shrubs and/or <br /> other landscaping could be planted on the residential side of the recovery building if the <br /> • City of Mounds View requested such plantings. <br /> The product recovery building will be built according to requirements of the Uniform <br /> Building Code and the Uniform Fire Code. When the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency <br /> has determined that the corrective action design implemented has reached acceptable levels, <br /> the building and equipment will be removed. The product recovery building will not <br /> become a permanent structure on the property. <br /> Kunz Oil Company is currently marketing the property for development so the location of <br /> future buildings has not yet been determined. Dahl & Associates, Inc. does not want to <br /> affect Kunz Oil Com•an •• •. . • • • ••. • • . .• _ _ <br /> route for a new building.
