In the event of the absence of the Council ex- <br /> officio member, a commission member may be appointed by the chairperson <br /> to represent the Planning Commission at the next regular City Council <br /> meeting. <br /> IX. CONFLICT OF INTEREST. When a conflict of interest may exist for <br /> a commission member or members, the member(s) shall ask to be <br /> excused and step down from the commission prior to discussion on that <br /> item. <br /> X. SUPPLEMENTARY PUBLICATIONS. All commission members <br /> shall receive a copy of the Municipal Code, Chapter 40, and other <br /> chapters applicable to the work of the commission and a copy of the <br /> Municipal Comprehensive Plan as well as other materials as provided <br /> by the City Council or City Staff.
