• MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> FROM: PAUL HARRINGTON, PLANNER . 1 <br /> DATE: November 15, 1993 <br /> SUBJECT: DEVELOPMENT PLAN/REZONING <br /> MULTI-TECH/EVEREST DEVELOPMENT, 22XX WOODALE DRIVE <br /> Everest Development, representing Multi-Tech, has made application <br /> for the following within the Mounds View Business Park: <br /> 1) Development Plan Review - Review of a proposed 59,970 square <br /> foot two-story building/facility expansion of Multi-Tech Systems to <br /> be constructed to the West of the existing Multi-Tech building. <br /> Staff has reviewed the submitted application and narrative provided <br /> by the applicant and found the request meets the intent of the <br /> Municipal Code as it applies to this request including land use, <br /> setbacks, zoning(if approved) , parking, etc. A review of the <br /> provisions for storm water control on the site is currently <br /> • underway. Staff anticipates no problems with storm water control <br /> on the site as the ponding area constructed as part of the existing <br /> Business Park was sized to handle the further development of this. <br /> property as well as the property to the immediate West. <br /> 2) Rezoning - Currently, the property located immediately West of <br /> the Mounds View Business Park is zoned B-3 , Highway Commercial <br /> (please see attached map) . The applicant is proposing that the <br /> aforementioned property be rezoned to PUD, Planned Unit <br /> Development, to accommodate the proposed use of that parcel by <br /> Multi-Tech for required parking area. Also, the rezoning would <br /> provide consistent zoning for the entire Business Park complex. <br /> I have included a very comprehensive application submittal provided <br /> by the applicant for your review. Everest Development will be <br /> present on Wednesday Evening to give a complete presentation of the <br /> proposal . <br />
