MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 371-91 <br /> 411 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A REZONING REQUEST OF <br /> EVEREST DEVELOPMENT, PLANNING CASE NO. 367-91 <br /> WHEREAS, Everest Development has made application to rezone <br /> the property located South of County Road H2 and Northeast of Highway <br /> 10 from B-3, Highway Business to PUD, Planned Unit Development; and <br /> WHEREAS, the property is legally known as: <br /> That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the <br /> Southeast Quarter lying northeasterly of U.S. Highway No. 10, and <br /> the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast <br /> Quarter, all in Section 8 , Township 30, Range 23 , Ramsey County, <br /> Minnesota, according to the United States Government Survey <br /> thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 40. 25, Subdivision A(5) , provides that the <br /> Planning Commission shall consider possible adverse effects of the <br /> proposed amendment. It further states that judgement shall be based <br /> upon, but not limited to, the following factors: <br /> • 1. Relationship to Municipal Comprehensive Plan <br /> 2 . The geographical area involved <br /> 3 . Whether such use will tend to or actually depreciate <br /> the area in which it is proposed <br /> 4. The character of the surrounding area <br /> 5. The demonstrated need for such use; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed <br /> the request in relation to the aforementioned criteria; and <br /> WHEREAS, the rezoning request is consistent with the City's <br /> curren ompre ensive . - • Use Plan designation for this property <br /> which is mixed use planned unit development; and <br /> WHEREAS, approval of the request will provide for a zoning <br /> designation which is consistent with the current and proposed land <br /> use. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br /> Commission recommends approval of the request to rezone the property <br /> legally known as: <br /> That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the <br /> Southeast Quarter lying northeasterly of U.S. Highway No. 10, and <br /> • the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast <br /> Quarter, all in Section 8 , Township 30, Range 23 , Ramsey County, <br /> Minnesota, according to the United States Government Survey <br /> thereof. <br />
