Pwt <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> 411 <br /> TO: PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> FROM: PAUL HARRINGTON, PLANNER�'�' <br /> DATE: March 14, 1994 <br /> SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT/VARIANCE REQUEST <br /> MICHAEL HEGLAND, 7604 SPRING LAKE ROAD <br /> Michael Hegland, 7604 Spring Lake Road, has made application for a <br /> Conditional Use Permit/Variance to allow the utilization of an <br /> existing 528 square foot building located on his property as an <br /> accessory building following the construction of a new, attached <br /> garage. The existing building is currently utilized as the <br /> principal garage on the site. <br /> The Mounds View Municipal Code allows for accessory buildings (in <br /> addition to garages) up to 400 square feet on residential <br /> properties with the issuance of a Conditional Use Permit. The <br /> applicants request exceeds that number and, therefore, requires the <br /> • issuance of a variance for approval. In addition to the existing <br /> 528 square foot building on the site, a smaller, 90 square foot <br /> building is proposed to be removed if the Commission is willing to <br /> grant the variance. <br /> I have included a copy of all materials received as a part of this <br /> application.
