•Mounds View Planning Commission November 2, 1994 <br /> Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> within Colonial Village Manufactured Home Park, <br /> Home Park. He also reminded the Planning Case <br /> Commission that the applicant had No. 391-94 <br /> presented his request for a Code Appeal <br /> in July of this year. At that time the <br /> Planning Commission requested Staff to <br /> contact other cities to find out their <br /> policy on allowing the display and sale <br /> of manufactured homes within a <br /> manufactured home park district. Mr. <br /> Harrington informed the Planning <br /> Commission that he had contacted 14 <br /> cities, 3 of which allowed the display <br /> and sale of manufactured homes. Two of <br /> the three cities, Blaine and Inver Grove <br /> Heights, allowed the display and sales <br /> of manufactured homes by conditional use <br /> permit. Neither of the two cities have <br /> specific conditions set forth in their <br /> Code and all conditional use permit <br /> requests are reviewed on an individual <br /> 4111 <br /> basis. He also noted that the cities <br /> have expressed no dramatic impact on <br /> traffic. Mr. Harrington recommended . <br /> that the Planning Commission not set • <br /> specific requirements in the Code. He <br /> concurred with the cities of Blaine and <br /> Inver Grove Heights in that each request <br /> should be reviewed individually. <br /> Mr. Harrington advised the Commission <br /> that he City Attorney was contacted <br /> regarding this issue. He informed Mr. <br /> Harrington that there would need to be . <br /> an ordinance amendment and that the <br /> Planning Commission could make the <br /> amendment by motion. <br /> The applicant, Mr. Liggett, addressed <br /> the Planning Commission. He informed <br /> the Commission that the selling of the <br /> manufactured homes would be done with <br /> the homes in place (on each individual <br /> lot) . Mr. Liggett presented a chart <br /> showing the number of manufactured homes <br /> and average age of the homes. He <br /> 4111 mentioned to the Planning Commission <br /> that he also manages manufactured homes <br /> parks in both Inver Grove Heights and <br /> Maplewood where the sales of <br />
