411 MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> FROM: PAUL HARRINGTON, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR <br /> DATE: December 15, 1994 <br /> SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, LINDER'S GREENHOUSES <br /> MOUNDS VIEW SQUARE, PLANNING CASE NO. 405-94 <br /> Pete Linder, representing Linder's Greenhouses, has made <br /> application for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the operation of <br /> an outdoor greenhouse and sales operation at Mounds View Square. <br /> As you will recall, Linder's was issued a C.U.P. in 1994 for a <br /> similar operation at Mounds View Square. The current request would <br /> allow the operation to be set up in the same manner as 1994, <br /> however, because of a request by the owners of Mounds View Square, <br /> and a desire on the part of the applicant for better visibility, <br /> the location of the operation on the property would be different <br /> than 1994 . <br /> *Staff has reviewed the current proposal and found the proposed <br /> location to be an improvement over the 1994 location. In the <br /> letter of application, Mr. Linder asks that the City consider <br /> allowing the operation to hook up to a hydrant on the property in <br /> order to get water for the operation. Staff has checked with the <br /> Director of Public Works and as long as the applicant meters the <br /> hydrant for usage, there is no problem with the request.
